Biography

I have more than three decades of experience in executive communications, including speechwriting and the full range of communications for the corporate/organizational or executive voice. I spent more than 20 years as a communicator on behalf of UCLA, writing speeches and other materials for two previous Chancellors and for numerous public ceremonies and advancement events. My career also spans editorial and corporate communications positions in broadcast television and the energy industry, as well as freelance work for clients in the public and private sectors. I edited the English translation of the French book The Hermione: Lafayette’s Warship and the American Revolution and contributed a chapter on executive biographies to the PR News Writer’s Guidebook, Vol. 1. My work has been recognized by Writer’s Digest and the Los Angeles chapters of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America, among others.
