Work Experience
Before I entered my current role, I was a Marketing Assistant at a global cloud security start-up.
Why did you choose Comm Studies as your major?
It was a way to explore and understand how people tick, but also was very relevant to many fields in which I was interested so I wouldn't be pigeon-holed into a profession.
Favorite UCLA memory and/or professor
Professor Peterson - for the ways he has profoundly affected and nurtured the pursuit of my passions, my trajectory as a life-long scholar, and my development as a student and contributing citizen of society.
How has Comm Studies empowered you in your professional and personal life?
Empowered me to be a scholar, even in the workplace, and thus I've been prepared to be contributing as a thought leader in my company and department. The intellectual seeds of curiosity planted during my undergrad have pervaded into all I do, everywhere I go.
What was the most valuable or applicable lesson you learned from a Comm Studies class?
What it means to network and take initiative to get resourced and connected.
