Biography

Brett’s research deals primarily in applying the concept of shared reality in social cognition to understanding and ideally reducing political divisions. For example, Americans see one’s political leanings as highly informative of who they are as a person for better or worse. (If acceptable, please also include the following) He is also the UAW union steward for the graduate students in the department.
