Work Experience

I'm an experienced CFO with over 25 years of experience, specializing in media, technology, and SaaS companies. My career has spanned a diverse range of media and tech organizations, from startups to established firms. I've held key financial leadership roles at companies like Nifty's (a digital collectibles (NFT) platform), Mojix (a SaaS company), Fullscreen (a global digital media company), ABC Radio Networks, the Game Show Network, and several creative agencies. My expertise extends to creator platforms, AdTech, event management, and various digital media ventures. I've consistently driven financial transformation, improved profitability, and extended cash runway for the companies I've worked with. Throughout my career, I've been drawn to the dynamic landscape of the media industry, from traditional broadcasting to cutting-edge digital platforms and technologies.

What was the most valuable or applicable lesson you learned from a Comm Studies class?

The Medium is the Message & Selective Perception! My college roommate (now my sister-in-law) and I used to laugh when we’d notice things like this in everyday life. It’s amazing how much you absorb without even realizing it. The real lesson from college though is that perseverance and determination pay off. The old adage, “if at first you don’t succeed…”

What advice would you give to a current Comm Studies student?

If you have an interest, explore it! You’re not tied to any career path…there are so many options out there that you’re not even aware of. Do internships. Take advantage of campus offerings (like the networking night). Be involved in as much as you can. It’s fun and it opens doors.
