Why did you choose Comm Studies as your major?
It offers a broad liberal arts education, drawing from areas of study that I find interesting: Psychology, anthropology, sociology, film.
Favorite UCLA memory and/or professor
Surprisingly, one of my favorite classes was the freshman writing course English 3. The instructor was Cheryl Giuliano, and she made what could have been a boring course very engaging with her unique supportive teaching style.
How has Comm Studies empowered you in your professional and personal life?
A college education in general, and Communication Studies courses in particular, really opens your eyes to the world in ways you could not imagine in high school. One of the first courses I took in college was a course in cultural anthropology that blew my mind.
