This course, taught by a music industry professional, will focus on i) creating and communicating the essential elements of a  worldwide hit song ii)  Identifying talent and communicating the artists vision effectively iii) the necessary interpersonal characteristics of a star and the those help create them iii) The various related jobs in the music industry and how to land one,  iv) what it takes to continuously evolve in the music business v) how to harness your unique talent and communicate it to the world

Jeff Blue is a multi-platinum music producer, award winning songwriter, A&R exec, music publisher, manager, best-selling author, screenwriter, and attorney. He signed and developed 6 Grammy winning artists during his career as Sr. VP at 5 major record labels. His book is being made into a major motion picture. He has two music docuseries with Mark Wahlberg’s production company and a screenplay in production. Jeff’s interns have gone on to be members of Linkin Park, VP’s at record labels, publishers, and film companies. He was a Communication major at UCLA and received his JD from Loyola Law.
