PART-TIME LECTURERS (NON-SENATE) 2021-22

SEARCH PLAN DESCRIPTION

The Department of Communication at UCLA invites applications for non-tenure track lecturer positions in 2021-22. Lectureship appointments are part time and made on a quarter by quarter basis as dictated by instructional needs and budget constraints of the department. Quarter academic appointment dates are as follows:

Fall: October 1-December 31st, 2021
Winter: January 1-March 31st, 2022
Spring: April 1-June 30th, 2022

We are currently looking for instructors for the following areas: Mass Media, Speech (Principles of Oral Communication), PR (Integrated Marketing), and Variable topics in the field of communication.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants with a Ph.D. preferred. Applicants who are advanced to Ph.D. candidacy or who have a M.A., M.F.A., or equivalent may be considered (currently enrolled UC students are not considered).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants with extensive academic and/or professional experience in the aforementioned areas are encouraged to apply.
